Bardstown is now home to Kentucky’s 33rd Driver Licensing Regional Office. The temporary office location is 860 W. Stephen Foster Ave., with plans to move to a larger, more permanent location in the future.

The office has a waiting area and staff ready to serve you for those wanting a REAL ID or standard version of their driver’s license, permit or state ID card.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Appointments are encouraged, but walk ins are welcome. Go to drive.ky.gov to schedule your appointment.

Kentucky State Police is not currently operating from this office, so no driver testing is available on site.

While the Judicial Center will be closed tomorrow, your local Nelson County Zoom dockets will continue as scheduled.

Due to a major winter storm, Judicial Branch facilities statewide will close today, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. ET and Tuesday, Feb. 16. Individuals who have remote court proceedings scheduled during this time should check with their court about any cancellations.

A great addition for parenting time exchanges!

In response to the community’s appeal for a designated meet up area for internet purchases and/or child exchanges, we have introduced two signs in our parking lot dedicated to creating a safer environment for meet ups. This area is under recorded video surveillance by the Bardstown Police Department and provides a safer place to meet. We hope our community utilizes these areas to ensure their safety.

The Kentucky Supreme Court issued new mandates today further restricting in-courtroom activities to address escalating Covid-19 issues. The GOOD news is that all family law cases (e.g. divorce, custody, child support) may proceed as usual, but Court appearances and hearings will take place via Zoom or Skype -which we were mostly doing anyway.

The Law Office of Trista Corbin Moss, PLLC is continuing to schedule both virtual and in-person appointments. During in-person appointments, the clients and attorney are both masked and socially distanced at each end of a 6 foot long conference table with plexiglass in between. Call today regarding your family law, civil, or estate planning needs!
