Kevin is both currently a Real Estate Broker and Investor in Bakersfield, California, and has been investing for almost 20 years. He got his start in Real Estate in the Wholesale field and spent his first 5 years acquiring and marketing properties to investors in California. ng business. Kevin takes the success of his team, his network very seriously and has made his mark by inspiring many, taking risks and leading by example. To get where he is today, Kevin took his ability to inspire others and used it to motivate and mobilize agents and other investors around the US to apply real estate basics and quickly bring him leads including REOs, short sales and pre-foreclosures. He is a master at applying real estate basics to find real leads that translate into big profit. In 2011, his partners recommended that he get his Real Estate license to assist with the sales and marketing of the company's assets as well as to exclusively work with investors to market their holdings. He personally oversaw all aspects of the sales team, pricing, advertising and promotions. He is now the sole Owner of REI Group LLC and represents many local buyers and sellers finding or selling their new homes for their families. He also works feverishly renovating single and multi-family homes, and has rehabbed over 200+ homes personally, mainly in his hometown of Bakersfield, CA. Though he does like to run off to Las Vegas and play a bit while flipping in Vegas!!! Kevin helped coach and teach for Rich Dad’s “Robert Kiyosaki” where he successfully helped hundreds of Real Estate investors start and cultivate their career’s in Real Estate investing. He helped several hedge funds and high executives in banking and financial companies acquire hundreds of property at trustee sale and directed them on how to rehab and rent for high yields. He personally also works feverishly renovating single and multi-family homes, mainly in his hometown of Bakersfield, CA. He has been involved as either a Realtor or Investor in over 1000+ homes and flips and has never picked up a hammer. Kevin is a sucker for any new challenge that is thrown down and loves the "art" of competition. He can only ask, "What''s next?"
Prior to real estate Kevin has a background in Computer Science with his Masters in Project Management from George Washington University. He was the Sr Project Manager for the western US for Nortel, after that he was recruited by GE Consumer Finance as a Six Sigma Black Belt / Top Issues Manager for North America. Currently Kevin serves on the Executive Board of Directors of REI Group (Real Estate Investors Group). He is a founding member and director of FIBI Bakersfield (For Investors By Investors – Kern Co); the largest investor group in Bakersfield. Kevin also gladly serves several charities and non-profits and is a proud member of Rotary International. Kevin has a passion to help at risk youth and sits on the Bakersfield Police Activities League’s board. He recently was appointed by the Kern County Board of Supervisors as a Kern County Commissioner to sit on the counties Civil Service Commission, he was then appointed by Bakersfield City Council to also sit on the city’s Civil Service Commission, he proudly sits on both commissions currently. Kevin now is a Broker Associate with eXp Real Estate and runs and coaches his team in Bakersfield, CA. He also still is very involved with his Real Estate Investing business and still flips as many homes as time permits and runs several real estate holding companies.
