It's good to see this finally enacted. I know people who got trapped in terrible work environments with low pay because of these "agreements," which are meant to shift the cost of training onto workers. If you treat your employees well and pay them competitive wages, you won't need to trap them.

Gov. Gavin Newsom recently signed several bills into law that will impact California workers, including one that prevents trapping them in debt.

It's pretty common for women to claim that celebrity men are the fathers of their children. Occasionally, the claims are true. But you don't see the opposite, for the obvious reason that concealing a pregnancy is hard enough when you aren't a touring musician.

This lawsuit is going nowhere. Even if there is some sort of collusion within the NFL (like there definitely was regarding Colin Kaepernick), the fatal problem here is that of standing to sue. No sports league owes a duty to make fans happy.

They probably won't find the body at Bank of America for years. I do not recommend either Wells Fargo or B of A for my clients, because of their poor service and even fraud. I just had a client report an issue yet again with these banks refusing to follow California law and accept valid legal documents. You can do better with a local bank or credit union.
