A canceled appointment turned into a breakfast appointment
Last week I confirmed an assigned notary appointment for today. A few days ago, I get an email from the signer stating they need a Spanish speaking notary because of her husband English was limited. After I explained that the signing was e-sign and so forth, her response was reassign to a Spanish speaker. By the time I saw her reply, she sent another email requesting that I continue with the appointment. I assured her there wouldn't be a communication barrier and the appointment would be easy and less than 15 minutes. This morning I showed up all bright and smiling. The wife and her best friend greeted me as if they were expected a family member. She summons for her husband, who was working on the roof. When he entered the room,I greeted him with the little Spanish I learned in high school, he responded in English 😆 🤣, and offered me Mexican coffee and a breakfasr burrito. An hour later, I left the appointment belly full, heart filled with happiness after hearing their love story and inspired to continue sharing my great energy (they said my energy was positive and refreshing).
