🔥 One of the most powerful rituals in Bali before Nyepi
On the island, the year 1948 has just begun according to the Balinese calendar 😄
On the eve of the New Year, the streets fill with giant statues called Ogoh-Ogoh.
They are handcrafted for weeks, sometimes by entire villages. Every detail carries meaning.
👹 Ogoh-Ogoh are demons.
But not “evil from the outside.”
