This year I had to opportunity to do the Book Reading of In My Heart: a book of feelings by Jo Witek over the airwaves of Joe D TV which broadcasts throughout the Hospital to the over 200 rooms and bedsides of kids who won’t be able to come to the live reading. I got to meet the bright and bubbly Salena who sang Michael Jackson for us and meet the hospital staff at The Child Life Zone equipped with classrooms, library, play areas, video games, reading books and so much more to keep kids learning and with plenty of activities during their stay at Joe D.
