Some of my favorite moments as an Austin home stager happen behind the scenes.

They’re in the creative process, the relationships, the little wins and the excitement of seeing a home you’ve poured so much thought into find its next owner.

And while I absolutely love making spaces beautiful, what makes this work so rewarding is knowing there’s a purpose behind every staging decision.

Because every staging decision is an opportunity to shape how buyers experience a home.

It’s about helping real estate agents bring their listings to market with confidence, helping sellers move into their next chapter and helping buyers see the possibilities in a home.

And getting to do something creative in the process? Pretty great bonus.

We had such a great group at yesterday’s Staging to Sell: What Every Agent Should Know class.

One of my favorite parts of teaching this class is the conversation that happens in the room. We’re not just talking about making a home look good. We’re digging into the decisions behind staging, how buyers experience a property, what agents should expect from a professional stager, and how staging fits into the bigger listing strategy.

The real answer: very intentionally.

We curate our staging collection with high-quality furniture and decor from designer and to-the-trade brands, local vendors and vintage sellers. That mix gives us the range to make each property feel distinct.

But finding a beautiful piece is only the beginning. The real work is choosing the right mix for the property and the buyer we’re designing for.
