A major victory out of the Supreme Court of Texas ⚖️

Lulu Flores, Equity Partner and Senior Legal Counsel at Hendler Flores Law, was one of 13 legislators targeted for removal after standing up for her constituents and opposing efforts to redraw congressional districts.

By leaving the state to deny a quorum, these legislators also helped bring attention to urgent issues impacting Texans, including relief efforts following the Guadalupe River flood disaster.

This ruling reinforces an important principle: Elected officials must be able to advocate for the communities they represent without political retaliation.
