On Friday, August 28, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) approved two major 765-kV transmission line projects associated with the Permian Basin Reliability Plan. For landowners located along the approved routes, the process is now entering a new phase: condemnation. Oncor may begin moving forward with surveying, right-of-way acquisition, and easement negotiations as the projects progress toward construction.

A full room, great conversations, and an evening we won’t soon forget.

We recently brought together Braun & Gresham clients, business partners, and staff at The Terrace Club in Dripping Springs for a wonderful evening together.

From cocktail hour to a seated dinner and presentation, the night gave us a chance to step away from the day-to-day and spend meaningful time with the people we’re fortunate to work alongside. We caught up with longtime friends, made new connections, and celebrated a shared commitment to Texas land and the people who care for it.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the evening. We had a wonderful time and hope to see you, along with a few new faces, at next year’s gathering.

Braun & Gresham is pleased to welcome Adam Walton to the firm as a Litigation Attorney.

Adam brings more than twelve years of legal experience representing individuals, property owners, real estate investors, business owners, and companies in complex disputes. His background includes significant trial and appellate experience, contract and employment matters, regulatory proceedings, temporary restraining orders, and cases involving real estate, construction, development, and business operations.

Before entering private practice, Adam served in several judicial and public sector roles, including as a federal appellate law clerk, an appellate prosecutor in Comal County, and a staff attorney for the Third Court of Appeals of Texas. This experience gives him valuable insight into how courts evaluate legal arguments and helps shape his thoughtful, strategic approach to litigation.

At Braun & Gresham, Adam will work closely with the litigation team to help Texas landowners navigate property disputes and other complex legal matters.
