When you become a client of Lloyd Gosselink, you quickly learn two things: There is no one you would rather have on your side, and you will enjoy the experience of working with us. We believe the law exists to improve and protect the lives of people who don’t really care about the legal profession. And as one of the first environmental law firms founded in Texas, Lloyd Gosselink has continually ev

olved to meet our clients’ ever-changing and expanding demands in new areas of expertise. Our original core practices in environmental and utility law have grown to include practices in renewable energy, business transactions, commercial litigation, and employment law. Our attorneys are highly recognized in their fields and are widely sought-after speakers. Client relationships are more than contracts. They’re bonds. We commit to our clients and their success. We build in-depth understanding of our clients and their businesses so we can provide both practical counsel and creative solutions to their challenges. We assemble talented client teams focused on depth of knowledge, responsiveness, trust, and seamless, long-term continuity. We never forget that our actions today impact our clients’ futures and how our firm will serve them. Being lawyers doesn’t preclude being easy to work with. Lloyd Gosselink was founded on the principle of teamwork that draws on the talents of everyone—professionals and support staff—to exceed our clients’ expectations. We also have a very Texan respect for the individual and the importance of family and a life outside the office. The result? Our clients enjoy working with us, and our employees enjoy a culture that sets Lloyd Gosselink apart in the legal community, with selections in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 as one of the Best Places to Work in Austin by the Austin Business Journal and 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas by Texas Monthly. Experience

Despite our growth, Lloyd Gosselink has never strayed from our founding mission of delivering top-quality, cost-effective legal representation and working with our clients to develop innovative solutions to legal problems, while maintaining the highest professional standards. Lloyd Gosselink is known and respected throughout Texas, and our presence in the Texas Capitol is as impressive as the view of it from our offices. Our growing practice continues to attract top-quality lawyers with real world skills and knowledge. Our attorneys have extensive experience in representing clients before the Texas Legislature, state and federal agencies and courts, and municipal governments. Our practice groups consist of professionals with a wide range of backgrounds, and include former employees of the very entities with which our clients interface. Prior to joining Lloyd Gosselink, members of Lloyd Gosselink were employed in staff and management positions with municipal governments, the Texas Attorney General’s Office, the Texas Legislature, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and several of its predecessor agencies, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC), the Office of Public Utility Counsel, and engineering and consulting companies. Our attorneys interact daily with agency commissioners and their staff, as well as with clients and their technical consultants, and actively participate on behalf of our clients in the legislative and agency rulemaking processes to ensure their interests are represented. Lloyd Gosselink hosted another group of Texas 4-H Water Ambassadors this week as part of their statewide tour exploring the water issues facing Texas and the many facets of the water industry.

Our firm has been a proud sponsor of the Texas 4-H Water Ambassadors Program since its creation in 2017. The program brings together high school students from across Texas who are passionate about water and natural resources, providing them with opportunities to learn from industry leaders and gain firsthand insight into Texas water issues.

During their visit, Water Law attorneys Kathryn Bibby and Cole Ruiz shared insights on Texas water law and the role attorneys play in addressing the state's water challenges.

We are honored to support these future leaders and appreciate the opportunity to be a part of their water education journey.
