Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Hanalei comes from a family of home builders with significant experience in the Austin market. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multimedia Arts and Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She minored in Spanish, studying abroad in Granada, Spain. While in Asheville, Hanalei sang with the Lyric Opera for two years and her passion for s
