I actually love showing homes in the rain.

Okay, maybe love is a strong word—it’s not exactly the most comfortable way to spend an afternoon—but rainy-day showings can reveal things you’d never notice on a sunny day.

Rain helps you spot potential issues like roof leaks, poor drainage, standing water, and signs of water intrusion before you buy.

True story: I was showing homes to some clients who absolutely loved one based on the photos and location. But when we pulled up, it had been raining, and there was a huge pool of water sitting in front of the garage and entryway.

Let’s just say that home didn’t make the shortlist.

Sometimes a rainy-day showing can tell you more about a home than a perfectly staged photo ever could.

So while most people are waiting for the sunshine, you’ll usually find me out showing houses in the rain—because that rainy day might just save my clients from a costly surprise down the road.

Let this be a sign to treat yourself! If you're looking for a nail salon in Pflugerville, I have been loving Golden Nail Lounge. 💅✨

I found this gem and it has easily become one of my go-to spots. It's one of those places that just makes self-care easy.

First of all, they're great about getting you in. Whether you're planning ahead or need a last-minute appointment, they've always been incredibly accommodating.

Second, everyone there does a wonderful job. I've worked with several of the team members, and I've never left disappointed. The entire team is friendly, talented, and genuinely wants you to have a great experience.

And can we talk about the drinks for a minute? 🍹 They have a fun variety of complimentary beverages, which makes your appointment feel a little more like a treat and a little less like another item on your to-do list. My favorite is the Vietnamese iced coffee.

If you're due for a manicure, pedicure, or just need a little "me time," definitely check them out.
