Jeff represents individuals and businesses in a broad range of civil
and commercial litigation matters, including claims involving
negligence, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, DTPA violations, and whistleblower complaints. His background includes both legislative experience and years of litigation practice in the Austin area.

Jeff is a results-driven litigator who values clear communication and
efficient strategy, with a focus on achieving practical outcomes for
his clients.

Snell Law recently secured a six-figure jury verdict in a defamation case tried in the 345th District Court of Travis County.

The jury awarded our client $115,000 after finding that false statements published by a business competitor were defamatory and damaging to the client’s professional reputation. The jury also
awarded $500,000 in punitive damages, but because only 11 of the 12 jurors agreed, that award will not be included in the final judgment.

The case was tried by Jason Snell and Lynn Watson, who successfully excluded the defendant’s expert witnesses and presented compelling evidence to the jury.

This verdict reflects an important principle. The truth matters, and defamatory conduct carries real consequences.

We are proud of the result and grateful to the jury for its careful
consideration of the evidence.

On Thursday, April 3, Jason Snell was honored to present on Common Evidentiary Mistakes at the TexasBarCLE Advanced Evidence and Discovery Conference in Houston.

Jason and his fellow panelists educated attorneys on common evidentiary mistakes and how to avoid them both before and during trial. Jason was honored to speak alongside the Honorable Roy B. Ferguson (Houston and Marfa) and Kristal C. Thomson (San Antonio).

Snell Law successfully secured a victory in a TCPA appeal, protecting our client from baseless counterclaims. The appellate court reversed the trial court’s decision and remanded for attorney’s fees, costs, and sanctions. Congratulations to our team for their hard work!
