Common does not mean harmless.

Artificial dyes are in too many products marketed to children, and parents are expected to accept fuel in their food as normal. No.

These chemicals add color, not nutrition. And when those exposures pile up over time, we are all left holding the bag.

Approved is not the same as safe. Read the labels. Learn the dye numbers. Choose real color when you can.

TXAG is taking on the Big Institutions poisoning everyday Americans. This is what the law is FOR — transparency, accountability, and CHANGE. Another proud day to be a Texan. Proud to be supporting and cheering them on with Food Babe, Calley Means, Moms Across America.

If your standard air test came back “normal,” that does not mean your home is safe.

Air samples are only a snapshot. The heavy toxic spores often settle into the dust, which means the most important part of the story may never make it into that test.

That is why dust testing matters.

Do not settle for a blurry snapshot when your health is on the line.

The Michaels Organization I understand that your employees are lying to your tenants and claiming that the MacDill housing rlawsuit is over. Not so, nor has it ever been. You filed a motion to dismiss — it was granted without prejudice (which meant we can file again). Then we moved to reconsider, and our motion was granted. The case was reinstated. In the meantime, the media covered your terrible living conditions, and Congressional members got involved. You’re now on a performance improvement plan. Those are the facts. And that’s what happens when you ignore known hazards and mess with our military families. They seek truth and accountability in court. See you there.

Another summary judgment denied.

Defendants are losing their attempts to evade justice.

That is what happens when the record matters, the facts matter, and the harm cannot just be brushed aside because the other side wants out early.

This case moves forward.

Too many families are taught to think of these hazards as routine housing problems. They are not.

Mold. Sewage intrusion. Lead. Asbestos. These are not cosmetic issues, and they are not minor repairs. They are serious environmental hazards that can damage health, destabilize finances, and alter the course of a family’s life.

And when property owners, housing operators, or institutions minimize them, that is not just bad management. It is a failure of duty.

Safe housing is not a favor. Clean air is not a courtesy. Accountability is not optional.

If you control the property, you carry the obligation to protect the people inside it.

On Memorial Day, I am thinking about those who gave their lives for this country and the sacrifices their families carry too.

So many lost their lives protecting us and protecting our freedom. The least we can do is make sure the people who serve this country, and the families who serve alongside them, have safe housing.

That is a lot of what I spend my time doing. I am honored to do it because we owe them more than gratitude. We owe them protection.

I am thinking of those who have fallen and remembering their legacy to live for something greater than ourselves.

Why do I get so angry on behalf of my clients?

Because when they call toxic harm psychosomatic, I think about my own family.

When they argue that a child should get less because that child is autistic, I think about my own son, who needed more care because he was more vulnerable. And that is the way it should be.

I carry that with me.

God is on the side of justice.
Justice is about truth.
And truth is always on our side.

I am a proud donor of the Change the Air Foundation and one of its first donors, so seeing this effort on Capitol Hill hits home.

Twenty offices. Three days. One goal.

Congratulations to the Change the Air Foundation for taking the MOLD Act straight to Congress and making sure this issue is impossible to ignore.

Mold and water damage are not side issues. They affect health, housing, military families, and everyday quality of life.

Proud to support this work from the beginning and even prouder to see it gaining real ground.

My brave teenage client reports: The monster was never under the bed. It was the air.

That is what toxic housing does. It turns a home into the source of the harm and leaves children carrying symptoms no one can explain, while adults around them minimize, misdiagnose, or blame them.

Stomach problems. ER visits. Anxiety labels. More symptoms. More confusion. More blame.

And then finally, one doctor asked the right question: Why is your body doing this?

There was an answer. Mold.

And she will never be the same. And she will speak out, and rise up, and along with her family, she will take on the institutions that hurt her. Because she is brave, and she is not alone.
