We're excited to announce our first event of the semester! Come join the Muslim Legal Society in TNH 2.140 from 12-1 this Thursday for a discussion on Islamophobia in the Law--a discussion about the various ways anti-Muslim sentiment has played a role in legal/judicial discourse in the U.S.

MLS was founded October 19, 2016. We are Texas Law's first ever Muslim Legal Society, and we look forward to building our community here at the law school. Today, we hosted our l(a)unch party where we enjoyed tacos and discussed a range of issues from islamophobia on UT campus to what we can do for the Muslim community as future attorneys.

Thank you to everyone who came out today and shared their stories and solidarity. Special thank you to the Texas Law Student Affairs Office for all your help in launching and for making our first event a successful reality!!
