Hundreds drive past a wall of seemingly unremarkable countryside trees every single day, never realizing that just feet from their tires sits 26 acres of virtually forgotten land. Decades ago, the State of Oregon spent $137,000 to buy an old pioneer homestead here. Then... they stopped talking about it. It was pretty much radio silence. As a result, there are no grand entrance signs here and no paved trails, either. Then, after you push past the brush, you hit a treacherous, muddy drop-off where you might find a crude climbing rope tied to a root. Then, if you dare to rappel down it... you’re well on the path to finding a secret.

Most have never visited this hidden riverfront hideaway. Yet even more surprising, many locals don’t even know it exists. So what and where exactly is this place? Find out in the full length video, premiering October 23, 2026.

In 1968, Robert F. Kennedy was campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination in Oregon. Yet here's the mystery: Records suggest he likely passed through Aurora, Oregon, not once, but twice— and in back to back, consecutive months. First in April, by motorcade. Then in May, by train. Two trips. Two routes. But are there photographs placing him in Aurora? And how could a town sitting along two of our region’s major transportation corridors seemingly disappear from the story?

Just yards from the busy Interstate 5 freeway slicing through Aurora, sits what may be Oregon's most overlooked body of water. Even stranger, thousands of motorists pass by every day, yet most never see it. And amazingly, many locals don’t even know it’s here, either. Hidden behind trees next to the interstate, this six-acre waterway sits in plain sight, yet remains virtually unknown to the people passing it every day.
