Dear Valued Clients:

We hope this post is finding you and your family well. We wanted to provide you with an update during this trying time about the operations of our office. Our office remains open and is conducting business on behalf of our clients every day. That means our operations will be conducted remotely and from our office on a day to day basis. We are, however, attempting to limit any face to face time with our clients, and when we do meet with them in person, we are doing so in accordance with the recommended guidelines of the governmental authorities. We do request that you notify our office prior to coming to the physical location of the office so that we are on-site and prepared for any meeting.

During this time, many businesses and people will be restricted in what activities that may take place. This will have an impact on all of our lives, but we, as Americans, will get through this time and the world will hopefully return to normal in a very short period of time.

This is also an opportunity for many of us to get to some things that have been on our lists, but we have been to busy to get to them. In that regard, our office can assist you in a number of ways that maybe you have been thinking about doing for some time. Those include:

* Reviewing/Updating/Creating your Estate Plan (including Wills and Powers of Attorney)
* Reviewing/Updating your company's contracts
* Reviewing/Updating your company's employee manual/employment policy

Michael A. (Mike) Boswell is an experienced business attorney, advisor and litigator with over 20 years of experience. He is licensed in both Washington and California. He is well versed in business transactions and operations, assisting companies with their formation, day to day operations, and ultimately the winding up of the company.

As an addition to his business experience, Mike has extensive intellectual property experience having managed disputes dealing with all facets of intellectual property and technology, including trademark and copyright infringement actions, trademark opposition proceedings, and matters concerning trade secrets. Mike uses this extensive litigation experience to counsel clients on the protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights.

Mike’s practice also includes estate planning and probate. Estate planning is vital to secure your personal protection and your legacy. To assist his clients with this most important aspect of their lives, Mike meets personally with them to discuss the client’s current situation and goals, and will work with the client to formulate an estate plan designed specifically with those facts in mind. If probate is necessary, Mike will work with the client’s personal representative to finalize their estate to meet those goals that have been set forth in their estate planning.

Mike has extensive background in the construction industry, representing general contractors, sub-contractors and design professionals on both public and private works projects.
