While it's true, many buyers like looking when the weather's warmer... this time of year - the serious HOUSE HUNTERS are busy. And your house can be the new listing the're looking for.

Sure... you may not get many showings when it's snowing or below freezing, but the people looking now have a legitimate need.
When the home inventory is higher than usual, people who've been looking for a while have seen what's on the market. Your new listing will get attention.

You don't have to move right now, unless the buyer is in dire straights. Put off the closing until the end of February or March.
Staging your home this time of year is fun. Make it warm, especially in the bathroom with big towels and robes even. Just like a spa.
The market usually starts to pick up in January, and your home will be ready to sell.
