I closed out September with $162,500 in settlements for three clients, including one settlement for the available policy limits.

The numbers are worth sharing, but what stays with me are the conversations with my clients when I get to tell them their case has settled. After treatment, uncertainty, and waiting, that conversation means a lot.

I’m incredibly honored to share that I’ve been selected for Clark Atlanta University’s 2026 40 Under 40 Young Alumni Achievement Awards cohort! 🎉

CAU gave me more than an education—it gave me a foundation, a community, and the confidence to lead with purpose. From serving as an attorney and Army Judge Advocate to building businesses, raising a family, and creating opportunities for others, my journey has been shaped by the lessons and legacy of my alma mater.

Being recognized alongside such an accomplished group of young alumni is both humbling and inspiring. I’m grateful for every challenge that strengthened me, every opportunity that stretched me, and every person who has supported me along the way.

One of the things I’ve always believed is that supporting our community extends far beyond what we do in our professions. It’s about showing up, building relationships, and investing in the people and organizations that are making a real difference.

Saturday July 11,2026 , I was proud to have C. Royes Law Firm sponsor the 5th Annual It Starts With Me 2 Foundation 5K. It was an incredible experience meeting so many members of the community, celebrating the foundation’s fifth anniversary, and supporting an organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life in our communities through education, nutrition, and physical fitness.

Events like this are a reminder of the impact that can be made when people come together with a shared purpose. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful day, and I appreciate everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello.

Somehow I posted this on Instagram and it didn’t share to Facebook. Late post: As I close out June, I’ve been reflecting on what an incredible first year it’s been since opening the doors to C. Royes Law Firm on Juneteenth.

Building a law firm from the ground up has required faith, long hours, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to my clients. Every case represents someone who trusted me during one of the hardest moments of their life, and I never take that responsibility lightly.

This $105,000 recovery for a client seriously injured in a T-bone collision is one of many reminders of why I chose this path. While every case is different and every outcome depends on its unique facts, I will always fight relentlessly to pursue the best possible result for the people I represent.

One year down, and I’m just getting started.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a day of reflection, gratitude, and respect for those who gave their lives in service to our nation and the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As an Army JAG Officer and proud member of this community, I am especially grateful for the courage and sacrifice of our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward.
