We’ve been busy making history and serving people.

Often, being the only woman and only black woman in rooms can carry a lot of pressure. When representing our clients, it is my priority to ensure thoroughness and excellence in every case, for every trial.

While we intentionally do not carry a large litigation caseload, we are passionate about and are willing to do whatever it takes to protect and advocate for our clients - whether it is making sure a clear, marketable title transferred at the closing table, advising on business decisions, prosecuting a trademark application, negotiating a contract or creating an estate plan to accomplish all of your goals.

Our ability to effectively litigate a matter though selectively used, provides us with leverage in making decisions and negotiating transactions on behalf of our clients.

Today, we celebrate a big win for our clients. Their success and win is our success and win. And that’s what matters most!

“Until you value yourself, you won't value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.”

We’re at the end of the 3rd quarter of the year and the seasons are changing. We’ve had a busy summer around the Stith Gray office and ‘blessed’ doesn’t even capture all the good things that have happened.

One of the most important changes we’ve made lately is how we focus our time. Our clients and their needs are what’s most important to us. The time and effort we put into making their lives, businesses, and future better is what keeps us working to be of greater service during these unprecedented times.

I personally have ensured that I also give time to my family and those other things that mean the most to me. And where I have given my time and attention over the last few months has made all the difference.

Even when you feel that you have to take a step back, it’s often a set up to spring you forward farther than you could have ever imagined.

The 3rd quarter and the second half of the year started today (July 1).

Typically, there would be a lot of momentum around staying motivated in career, business, and life and lots of motivating posts to push harder and produce more; especially to those who had a slow start during the first 6 months of the year.

But today feels different.

Instead of pushing you to produce more or bigger, today let’s challenge each other to think about how we can build better community and family support as we navigate the rest of the year.

If you’ve been watching the news you know we may be in for a wild ride the remainder of the year. The real estate market, rising numbers again within the pandemic, new illnesses emerging, and fears of financial ebbs and flows in the market have all been in the news cycle over the last few months.

How can we collectively prepare as a community for what may come? How can we prepare our families? How are you preparing yourself?

Today, let that be where our energy is directed.
