"Should a small coffee shop with eight seats be regulated as though it were a large commercial kitchen?"

The Coffee Pot, a small Acworth coffee shop, has fallen under a blanket regulation to install a grease trap large enough for a high-volume restaurant at the cost of up to $30,000.

The owner of The Coffee Pot, my client, is going before the Cobb County Water System on Wednesday, September 16th to formally dispute this over-reaching requirement.

If you want to see small business thriving in Cobb County, we must remove the costly, illogical regulatory barriers that create exorbitant expenses - keeping some from opening their doors or expanding.

Moving can be bittersweet - leaving the memories in the old house but excited for the new one,... when you have your favorite people, the new house feels like home quickly.

Some people make me feel so good inside, and these peeps, right here, are an example of that!

Thank you for asking me to help. I'm excited for you and I've really enjoyed our time together.

What’s Missing in Downtown Kennesaw?

This spot in Kennesaw’s Central Business District has me thinking—not just about what could go here, but what should.

With C*D zoning, this property opens the door for retail, restaurant or office space right in the heart of a growing downtown. The visibility is strong, the location is strategic and it stands in Kennesaw’s entertainment district.

Demand for places where people can gather, connect, and spend time—whether that’s a great restaurant, a unique retail concept or a space that brings something new to the community continues to grow in Kennesaw.

There’s great opportunity here to create a destination that people return to again and again.

If you’re a business owner, developer or investor who enjoys being part of a growing downtown story, this one is worth a look.

The answer is YES, yes, I still know how to rock residential and I couldn't be more honored when a friend of over 20 years asks me to help him buy his first house!!

Congratulations on this huge achievement! I am so incredibly happy for you.
