La ciudadanía por nacimiento en EEUU es un derecho constitucional que no se puede eliminar sin un cambio a la constitución. Esto último requeriría la votación de dos tercios de la cámara de representantes y tres cuartos del senado. Lo que Trump a firmado es una orden a los oficiales de no reconocer la ciudadanía por nacimiento dentro se 30 días; pero eliminarla no está dentro de su poder. Se anticipa que esta orden morirá antes de ser puesta en marcha. Es una manera de echarle leña al fuego sin en realidad hacer nada.
Citizenship by birth in the US is a constitutional right that cannot be eliminated without a change to the constitution. An amendment to the constitution cannot happen without the approval of 2/3 of the house and 3/4 of Senate. What Trump has signed is an order to officers not to recognize citizenship by birth in the US within the next 30 days. However, eliminating it is not within his power. We anticipate that this order will die before it is set in motion. This is another way to fuel the fire without really doing anything.
