What are closing costs?? They're additional fees and payments you make when finalizing your home purchase. Typically they include things like:
Homeowner insurance
Title insurance
Loan application
Credit report
Loan origination
Home appraisal
Home inspection
Property survey
Attorney
And every buyer has them so be sure to figure them into you home buying costs.

Saving to buy a home? Don’t forget your closing costs.

They’re not the same everywhere. In some states they average roughly $2-3K. In others, nearly $20K.

Wondering where interest rates will land in 2025? Here's what NAR's Chief Economist Lawrence Yun predicts.
“Are we going to go back to 4%? Per my forecast, unfortunately, we will not,” he said. “It’s more likely that we’ll go back to 6%. That will be the new normal, bouncing around 5.5%-6.5%.”
