We don’t just invest in vacants and run down homes. This couple approached us about purchasing their house that’s worth north of 300k about a week ago. They wanted to sell because they had dreams of purchasing a House Boat on the lake. They said they had worked with another investor, but that investor couldn’t get the job done. While they were working with that investor, they put the House Boat under contract but had to cancel after the previous investor failed to execute. They wanted to try again with us. We told them that they were in good hands and made a commitment to them that they would be in that house boat by July 4th weekend. There were several hiccups along the way and we lost sleep thinking we may not be able to come through for them. It really looked like this deal wasn’t going to work out. We were just about to cancel our contract with them but through some wheeling and dealing, we got it done this weekend. Will go down as one of our most favorite deals ever. Not because of the profit potential, but because we were able to keep our commitment to this nice couple and help them achieve their goals. We close on 25th of June.
