I am passionate about my clients. I believe the “practice of law” has been lost in the modern law practice. Other firms practice “the business of law.” They see clients as the value of their case and how much money can be collected for a settlement in the least amount of time. The practice of law focuses on the best interests of the client and serving their needs for the best possible result. The

practice of law also focuses on achieving justice, which is offering clients a voice in a complicated legal system. Other firms who take any case offered them are practicing a business model that forces them to quickly settle cases without becoming experts in the cases they represent. This means that justice is sacrificed because other firms haven’t developed the expertise or desire needed to achieve the highest value of the case. My clients are more than just the cases they represent. I am passionate about achieving justice for them.

The pandemic had us driving less, but surprisingly this didn't correlate to less accidents. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration crash fatalities went up by 7.2% in 2020. Georgia's Hands-Free Law took effect in 2018, but distracted driving is still a huge cause of car accidents and fatalities statewide. We worked a case where a distracted driver lost control of his car, left the roadway and struck our client who had been mowing a commercial property in Duluth, Gwinnett County. After conducting an investigation we believed the driver was texting while driving before he lost control. We settled the case for the insurance policy limits after submitting a policy limits demand to both the at fault driver and our client’s uninsured motorist (“UM”) coverage.
