In the news...The Seattle Times featured a lawsuit filed by CGP on behalf of two families who lost loved ones in a tragic seaplane crash in Alaska. Both victims were passengers aboard a Holland America Alaska cruise, who took a shore excursion during a stop in Ketchikan, Alaska on a seaplane. The pilot flew into unsafe conditions and crashed into a mountain.

A federal lawsuit alleges Seattle-based Holland America Line pressures outside excursion operators to take unnecessary risks to meet cruise schedules.

We loved getting to CELEBRATE and CONGRATULATE the Hon. Thomas W. Thrash Jr., Northern District of Georgia, on his 25th anniversary on the bench. His former law clerks hosted a reception in his honor at the Capital City Club in downtown Atlanta this past Friday evening. “Judge Thrash was a terrific judge to clerk for and has remained a great mentor for all of his former clerks,” said CGP partner Ranse Partin who was one of Judge Thrash’s first law clerks, 1998-2000.
