Happy two-year HLM anniversary to Anastasia Zevan, an associate in our Savannah office!

Anastasia grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky in 2021 before earning her J.D. from Fordham Law School in New York City. While in law school, she served on the executive board of Fordham's mock trial team and was selected by the New York City Trial Lawyers Alliance (NYCTLA) to receive an award for her achievement in trial advocacy.

Since joining HLM, Anastasia has played a key role on our trial team, including helping secure a $58 million verdict for Dr. James Quinn, a Stanford University medical school professor who was wrongfully arrested on fabricated charges during a contract dispute with a biotech company.

Congratulations to Talia Dobbins, winner of the $5,000 Harris Lowry Manton LLP Civil Justice Scholarship, and finalists Daniel Gallardo and Isabella Privitera!

Talia is heading to the University of Georgia School of Law after graduating as a First Honors Graduate from UGA with degrees in criminal justice, sociology, and political science. She brings hands-on experience and a clear passion for using the law to drive meaningful change.

Daniel is starting his first year of law school at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. His interests include Federal Indian Law, tribal sovereignty, and expanding opportunities for Native communities through the legal system.

Isabella is heading to Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law to pursue public interest, trial advocacy, and civil rights law. She's committed to advocating for underrepresented communities in Philadelphia and beyond.

All three represent the next generation of dedicated advocates for justice, and we can't wait to see the impact they'll make.

Our team celebrated two decades of success, growth, and achievement during our firm-wide retreat. We had a great time enjoying activities and spending time together.
