Here is your reminder, if you haven’t already, to file your home for 2022 homestead exemption by the APRIL 1ST DEADLINE.

Property taxes add to your monthly payment. With home values going up at the rate they are, so are property taxes. BUT there is a solution.. if you purchased a owner occupied property prior to January 1, 2022 you are eligible for a reduction in your property taxes. Beautiful thing about it is, you only need to file once. Your taxes will continue to remain adjusted for as long as you live in the home. Happy applying!
