Between 95% and 98% of cases never make it to trial. But settlements take two willing parties, and they require insurance companies to cut checks, which is not their favorite activity.

Insurance companies don't just look at whether you're injured in a collision. They look at risk. If fault is disputed, your medical history is complicated, your injuries aren't obvious, or the damage to your vehicle doesn't seem to match the pain you're experiencing, they may decide to take their chances at trial rather than make a fair settlement offer.

That's why choosing a law firm isn't just about who can negotiate a settlement. It's about choosing a firm that's prepared even if negotiations fail.

At MPG Trial Law, we prepare every case as though it will end up in front of a jury. We try car wrecks, slip and falls, wrongful death cases, disputed-liability cases, and even cases with modest medical expenses, because every client deserves an advocate who is willing to see the case through.

Sometimes a fair settlement happens before trial. Sometimes it doesn't.

Either way, our job is the same: to be prepared, to fight for what's fair, and to keep going when the offer on the table doesn't reflect what our client has been through.

Roads aren't built the way they used to be. They've gotten wider, faster, far busier, and they're designed to move more cars than ever before.

During the summer, Georgia roads are flooded with vacation traffic, weekend road trippers, families heading to the lake, and this year, an unprecedented number of rideshare drivers transporting Atlanta's FIFA matchgoers. More people on the road means more opportunities for a split second to change your life.

Staying alert, giving yourself enough time and space, and keeping your focus on the road makes a real difference. Queue up Spotify before you put the car in drive and stay off your phone while you're moving.

If you find yourself dealing with an accident this summer, we are here to help you make sense of what comes next.

After a car accident, one of the first questions we hear is: “What do I do about my car?”

Between repair estimates, pushy insurance adjusters, and unclear timelines, property damage can quickly become overwhelming, especially when you are still trying to process the accident and prioritize your physical health.

When a client signs up an injury case with us, we assist with property damage claims at no cost. If you've been in an accident and aren't sure what to do next, reach out to us at (404)551-5362

This week we tried a disputed liability case where the insurance company’s pre-trial offer was $0.

After trial began, the insurance company made an offer, which we rejected. The jury returned a verdict today for our client that was nearly 2.5x that offer.

The defense strategy was simple: deny fault, minimize injury, and disconnect the at-fault driver from his employer.

The jury listened to the evidence and held the driver AND his company accountable.

Proud of our client and our win today.

When you’re involved in a Title IX investigation, one of the most important decisions you make is your advisor. Many students and educators rely on advisors assigned by their school or hire a criminal lawyer, but Title IX proceedings are stressful, personal, and different from other legal matters. These cases require expertise, and few lawyers act as Title IX advisors on a regular basis.

Mary Paige advises students, teachers, and staff involved in high-stakes Title IX matters at major institutions across the southeast. She knows the process, ensures schools follow regulations, and asks the right questions at hearings.

We offer flexible representation options for students and educators. Our custom Title IX representation options range from flat-rate one-time consultations to full representation through appeal. Call our office if you're dealing with a Title IX issue.
