5th year anniversary for Greenwood CRE and it’s truly been a pleasure. Nationwide this entire team has heart and diligently strives to be the best.

I consider GCRE: the smartest, yet down to earth, most fun and friendly, group of SIOR’s, CCIM’s, MCR’s, MRED’s, and MBA corporate real estate professionals in the industry. That (on any given day) will completely nerd out on any financial analysis spreadsheet!

The CCIM Institute spring forum in Philadelphia was quite a site to see.

Although I missed the city tour, the morning Rocky run, the breakfast conversations, every single networking event, the STDB competition, the governance meetings, amazing speakers and even the phenomenal pinning ceremony… I did just so happen to see each and every one of you that attended.

How you might ask?

You may not have noticed me, but I was there when you came to register. I may have only gotten a quick glimpse 👀 of you from the side view of a column, but I was there. I even peaked and saw when you went to grab your landyard. I took a photo with a few of you like Dawn Brewer, CCIM, MBA, Principal by the way, it was great to see you and your son at the spring forum. I even supported someone that needed to lean on me when they were on a call negotiating a deal! What an honor. So glad I was there to help.

When I saw CCIM Institute President Adam Palmer, CCIM, SIOR walking by cracking jokes with Paul Rumler, CCE all I could do was fold my arms and smile. Adam, what a guy. He always has a smile on his face, is what I said quietly to myself… but his smile made me smile too.

So even though I had a schedule conflict this week and was not able to attend in person, I was definitely there in spirit and I saw each and every one of you. 😂

Just the views of real estate and nature that I took on a recent property tour. The scenery was actually quite tranquil and beautiful. Loved how the developers left portions of the old building such as the large columns in the middle and created an open courtyard. It looks like art. There was something intriguing to see at every turn. Well done.

Absolutely beautiful adaptive reuse property. I love the brick, concrete, steel, wood and exposure to nature. This building sits on a river and is used for events and retail

Thoroughly enjoyed speaking on the CCIM Dealmakers panel In December. It was such a pleasure sharing insights from my award-winning deal; namely, the challenges, the strategy, the collaborative approach to negotiations and more. It was also wonderful learning from the deals that my peers completed in retail, self-storage and multi-family in Columbus, Carrollton and around metro Atlanta! What an honor!
