1. If the we**am is integrated with your computer disable it through the control panel on your computer.
2. If the we**am is not integrated, simply unplug it when it is not in use.

One of the constants of the private investigators world is infidelity. Sadly it's the gift that never stops giving from a business standpoint. For as long as men and women have walked the earth, infidelity has not been too far behind. Of course back during prehistoric times things would probably be settled with two cavemen clubbing each other to death. Today it's a bit more complicated with houses, bank accounts, and kids involved. And yes, unfortunately, lawyers as well.
By the time a prospective client approaches me and says "I think my husband or wife is having an affair", he or she already knows it's happening. They're just seeking out a non involved party to reaffirm what they already know. It may seem nonsensical but being betrayed by someone you love is one of the greatest pains most of us will feel during our lifetime. Right up there with a death in the family. Which is why it's hard to face up to for many people.
The answer as to why a suspicion of infidelity is usually correct is as simple as one word. Schedule. If you're married and have kids, a house, and a mini van you live by a schedule. Kids have to be picked up from school and taken to soccer practice. The dog has to be taken to the vet.You have to be at work at usually the same time everyday. You usually get home in time for dinner. It's impossible to have an affair with all that going on and not break from the routine. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to screw around. Hence the begining of the vague explanations and excuses. Coming home from work later than usual. Or leaviing earlier for work for that matter. More unexpected business trips. More work during a day off. All these things demand a break from the routine. Which is why it's so easy to arouse suspicion on the part of the spouse being cheated on. And which is why it's so easy for a private investigator to catch a cheater. That and the fact that if you're cheating you're usually thinking with your crotch.
If you feel you're being cheated on you're probably right. Or least that's what I tell my clients. Since cheaters usually have one thing on their mind when cheating they're not thinking straight. Throw in the technology available to private investigators and it almost always adds up to the term "busted". The impartial private investigator gets paid. The client goes back to a broken home. Not exactly a happy ending for the client.
On the other hand if you're the one doing the cheating, hope and pray that you haven't aroused suspicion. If you're significant other has gone to the length of paying someone to conduct surveillance on you. Remember the aforementioned term busted? If you're wherabouts are being monitored you'll be caught. It's as simple as that.
Choosing a privtate investigator isn't all that hard. Most of them will want to know why you think an affair is at hand. They usually require a retainer that can range from $800 to $1800 dollars. And usually about $60 to $100 dollars per hour after the retainer has been used up. A good private investigator will ask as many questions about your spouse's schedule and who they associate with on a daily basis. The more honest you are the easier it'll be for the private investigator to get to the bottom of the matter. Not least of which the more money it will save you as well.
In a perfect world everyone would say "I do" and live happily ever after. In a perfect world that is. As a private investigator it's the gift that never stops giving.

Defensive Shooting tips ...

So you think you're ready to take defensive shooting lessons. Before you decide to give it some thought be sure of one thing. Actually be sure of a few things. Specifically, make sure your basics are second nature. Attempting to throw yourself into a defensive shooting course without mastering things such as grip, trigger finger placement, trigger discipline and sight acquisition can wind up being a waste of time, effort and not least which, money.

I always tell my clients that you don't know how to defend yourself with a gun until you know how to kill someone with a gun. Granted having a gun in the home or on your person is way better than not having it. But learning how to use a gun to defend yourself is a totally different animal than standing still and shooting at a paper target that isn't moving. Lets face it. If you have a problem beating the crap out of someone then don't bother learning any one of the martial arts. If you have a problem shooting and possibly killing someone in order to defend yourself then just keep on driving and don't stop at the gun store.

Defensive shooting always translates into a lack of time. What do I mean by that? Think about the situations that might arise causing you to use your weapon. You're confronted by a home invader. You're attacked by an armed mugger. You're face to face with a car jacker. All these situations have one thing in common. You'll only have a few seconds to decide what your actions will be. And if your decision is to use your gun you better be fast, accurate, and deadly.

A defensive shooting course can be a bit overwhelming at first. You may be frustrated but it won't take long for you to realize that you're finally learning how to use a gun. You're learning how to be deadly with a deadly weapon. I have yet to come across a gun enthusiast who doesn't find that exciting. So find a range that offers defensive shooting courses. If you're at a loss as to what equipment you'll need don't worry, they'll tell you. Just be ready for one thing ... It's time to have some fun.
