Met with a client that got dismissed from his job for unfortunate reasons. Great guy, man of the cloth and was baptized in the same church I go to. Glad to help him out (as I am glad to help EVERYONE out). Love clients that help me help them.

Heading to Brunswick tomorrow to help out a more than deserving workers' compensation client. I handle stuff all over the state, so this is nothing new. And, as a bonus I get to see a friend who has since moved to the coast. Win, win.

After doing this a while, I completely understand that choosing to settle your case is tough. Talked through all the options and goods and bads with a client and her daughter today. Sometimes, settling is the best solution, as it was the case today. Glad I could help this well deserving gentleman (and family) out!

She doesn't come down often, but my wife had a dentist appointment around the corner from my office and came to visit me afterwards. Got to see where the magic happens :). Hope everyone had a great day, and in the meantime I keep fighting for ALL my clients!

I know it's Saturday, but decided to help out a few well deserving clients today, including answering some questions about a workers compensation settlement and medical treatment, finalizing details about a mediation and potential settlement value and explaining the importance of answering discovery to a third, this one in extreme Southeast Georgia (I work all over Georgia!). Good use of my time and clients greatly appreciated it!

I like to think that one of the things that makes clients drawn to me is that I can relate to them, even if I am not experiencing what they are going through....being able to 'Read the Room' so to speak. Well today an awesome new workers' compensation client in South Georgia called me about something bad that happened to her yesterday that could potentially have affected her case (but fortunately it won't!). I told her, "Sometimes you're the Louisville slugger, sometimes you're the ball". She got the Mary Chapin Carpenter reference immediately! I realize Country isn't everyone's cup of tea but my Spidey Sense told me she'd appreciate the analogy!
