I was told I can’t terminate my attorney 😭
Yeah… that’s not how this works.
You can fire your lawyer at ANY time.
Georgia law gives YOU control of your case—not your attorney.
Now, to keep it real—your prior lawyer may have a lien for the work they’ve done. That just means they can get paid for their portion…
but it does NOT mean they own your case or get to keep you stuck.
And for the lawyers watching… let’s be clear—
you can’t be out here soliciting, pressuring, or interfering with someone else’s client either.
There’s a right way to handle everything.
So if you feel stuck, confused, or not getting answers…
just know—you have options.
Everybody gotta play by the rules. knowyourrights
