Our market still produces down payment assistance to help first-time home buyers. FHA loans require 3.5% down of the purchase price and the buyer has closing cost also, FHA has a FHA203K product which allows you to bring the property to FHA standards. With a higher credit score, some consumers may use a Conventional Loan. Conventional Loans have several down payment options, maybe 3%, 5%,10% and 20%.
