The whole Geek family had a great New Year!

After the hike out I thought, man I must be getting old, this little hike is kicking my butt! Then my throat started to hurt and it started to become harder to swallow, then I realized I wasn't tired and worn out from the hiking but because I was coming down with Strep Throat! Nothing a prescription and a few days banished to the basement won't cure!

Took the kids to see Harrp Potter and the Half Blood Prince after finishing reading it to them (a chapter a night at bed time). They loved it, but my son asked, "why did they not show the big battle at the end?". I don't know ow, son, maybe in the remake they will?
