🚨 3 mistakes that can cost you money in your injury settlement 🚨

❌ Ignoring your doctor’s instructions
❌ Posting the wrong thing on social media
❌ Giving a recorded statement to the insurance company before speaking to a lawyer

What you do in the days and weeks after a wreck matters. Insurance companies are looking for inconsistencies.

This quick video breaks down a few mistakes I see all the time — and how to avoid them.

New episode of Sports ‘N Torts 🎙️

This week I sat down with Randy Kessler—one of Atlanta’s most respected lawyers.
30+ years. Built the right way.
Before social media was the biggest thing… he was already doing what most lawyers are trying to figure out now 👇

⚖️ Law is sales
🤝 Relationships drive everything
📈 Reputation compounds

We also talked:
Celebrity clients
Media appearances
Building a law firm
And why he still wears a suit every day

💬 “People like sending business to their friends.”

Not gonna lie… this one was and .s.tein idea. 😂
Yes, it’s ridiculous.
Yes, it has nothing to do with a deposition or a demand letter.
But if you can’t have a little fun with what you do… what’s the point?
I take my cases seriously. I just don’t take myself seriously all the time.
And honestly—if someone doesn’t hire me because of this video, we probably weren’t the right fit anyway.
Best part: getting my kids involved in something tied to my work.
Worth it 🤝

As parents, we all want our kids to succeed in sports.

But are we teaching them the right things?
I sat down with former Georgia Tech and NFL player Nick Ferguson and this conversation really made me think.

We talked about:

The pressure athletes deal with behind the scenes
How parents can support (instead of overwhelm) their kids
What happens when sports are over—and identity becomes a challenge
One of the biggest takeaways:

👉 It’s not about winning or losing… it’s about what your kids learn through it.

This one isn’t just for football fans—it’s for any parent raising kids in sports (or life).

🎧 New episode: “More Than Football: Raising Kids, Handling Pressure, Lessons Sports Should Teach, and Life After the Game with NFL Safety Nick Ferguson”

Give it a listen and let me know what you think.

Are more lawsuits being filed now in Georgia than ever? It sure feels and seems that ways.

We’re seeing insurance carriers take a tougher stance in the pre-suit phase. Lower offers. More resistance.
The result?

More lawsuits—earlier in the process.
But filing suit isn’t automatic.
Every case is different. Strategy depends on:
• What the carrier is doing
• The available policy limits
• The severity of the injury

Sometimes early litigation makes sense.
Sometimes it doesn’t.

There’s no formula—just thoughtful decision-making based on what puts the client in the best position.

The goal isn’t just to file suit.
It’s to get the best outcome.

No podcast. No Spotify. Just the radio.
In 15 minutes…

I heard 4 different injury lawyer ads.
Different voices. Same message.

“Call now.”
“We’re the best.”
“No fee unless we win.”

And I thought—
If I were hurt… how would I even choose?
When everything sounds the same, nothing stands out.

That’s why I believe trust isn’t built in a 30-second commercial.
It’s built in how you show up when people actually need you.

If you were in that position… what would matter most to you?
