Beach days don’t have to be planned months in advance or saved for a special occasion. Sometimes they’re just a regular Friday, a little sunshine, and a toddler running wild in the sand. 🌊☀️

One of our favorite community spaces got a beautiful update, and it’s worth a visit!

The Astoria Library has always been one of those special community spaces that’s so much more than just a place to grab a book. It’s a place for families to gather, neighbors to connect, and people of all ages to learn, create, and spend time together.

The refreshed space has some pretty fun features you might not expect. Beyond books, the Astoria Library offers so many ways to get involved, from music classes and story times to cooking demos, art classes, knitting groups, teen hangouts, and community discussions. Plus, did you know you can even check out small appliances from the library? ☕🧇

We love highlighting the places that make the North Oregon Coast such a great place to call home, and the Astoria Library is a perfect example of what makes our community so special. 💙

Think your Zestimate tells you what your home is worth? Think again.

Zestimates can be a fun starting point, but they’re often wildly inaccurate here on the North Oregon Coast.

Why? Because automated valuation tools work best in cookie-cutter neighborhoods where homes are very similar and there are lots of recent sales to compare.

That’s not what our market looks like.

Here, you might have a 100-year-old Victorian next to a remodeled cottage, a home with an ocean view across the street from one without, or properties with unique lots, shops, acreage, or updates that an algorithm simply can’t value correctly.

We’ve seen Zestimates miss a home’s value by tens of thousands of dollars- sometimes too high and sometimes too low.
