Meet Our Attorneys

Robert P. DeSanto has been providing legal services to area families since 1977. He is a graduate of Cleveland Marshall Law School and Ohio University. He is a former teacher, US Army veteran, and served for many years as Ashland County’s elected Prosecuting Attorney. In 2004, Robert was named Ohio Prosecutor of the Year, and he was also recipient of the War Veterans Bar Association Award in 1975. He is a past President of the Ashland County Bar Association. Robert is licensed to practice law in all Ohio Courts, the United States Supreme Court and the Federal District Courts. He presently serves as an Ashland County Park Commissioner and as a member of the Natural Resources Assistance Council in Ohio.

Karen L. DeSanto-Kellogg has over 18 years of experience as an attorney. After graduating from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2000, Karen began her career as an Assistant Prosecutor. This role took her to positions in Morrow, Ashland, and Richland Counties. Karen now enjoys serving individuals and families in private practice at DeSanto & Kellogg, LLC. She is admitted to practice in all Ohio State Courts, the United States District Court Northern District, and the United States Supreme Court. She has previously served as a Board Member and Chair of the Appleseed Community Mental Health Board and is the current Vice President of the Ashland Parenting Plus Board. Karen enjoys the close working relationship that she often develops with clients. Giving a client answers, advice, peace of mind, and advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves are all things that Attorney Kellogg aspires to accomplish through her representation. Whether it is a divorce, dissolution, custody, employment law, business, probate matter, or a personal injury matter, Karen brings her years of litigation experience, dogged persistence, and her compassion to every case.
