rauma informed providers whose number one priority is the SURVIVOR. Whether you experienced sexual violence recently, when you were a child, or if the violence is still happening – we are here for you. Victim Services provides support, treatment, and education for victims, their families and surrounding communities. Our team serves 10 Kentucky counties – Bath, Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Greenup, Lawrence, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, and Rowan counties – free of charge. Advocates are on 24 hour call to respond to requests for assistance to victims of sexual violence. In addition to direct services, advocates work to support survivors cope with emotional reactions to the crime, provide education about the criminal justice system, and facilitate imperative communication among agencies to ensure community wide trauma informed response and treatment to survivors in their time of healing.
