Buncombe County Market Update 🏡

The headlines don’t always tell the whole story, so here’s what stood out this week:

• Inventory remains healthy, giving buyers plenty of choices.
• Pending sales increased, showing buyers are still making moves.
• Closed sales are ahead of last year’s pace.
• Price reductions jumped significantly, reminding sellers that today’s market rewards accurate pricing.
• We’re sitting at about six months of inventory—a much more balanced market than we’ve seen in years.

What does that mean?

Maybe that’s why I love Asheville so much.

A slower morning. Coffee on the porch with my pup and my family. Mountain views instead of screen time. Conversations that don’t start with a ping.

As a Realtor, my phone definitely stays busy—but one of my favorite parts of this job is helping people find a home that gives them more of the life they actually want. Sometimes that’s a bigger backyard. Sometimes it’s a front porch. Sometimes it’s simply a little more peace and quiet.

I know buying your first home can feel overwhelming.
You might be wondering if you’re making the right decision.

We can never predict what the market will do, but we can use the data we have to make the best decisions we can for our personal situation.
