1️⃣ Your monthly payment matters more than the list price. Taxes, insurance and HOA fees can make two similarly priced homes look VERY different each month.

2️⃣ Don’t drain your savings just to get to the closing table. Homeownership comes with expenses after you get the keys too!

3️⃣ You can change paint, flooring and finishes. You can’t change the street. Location matters. A lot.

4️⃣ Start the conversation earlier than you think you need to. Even if you’re a year or two away, knowing what you need to work toward now can make the whole process feel so much easier later.
