I just found out last Thursday was National Working Moms Day (Who knew this was a thing?!). Well I missed the memo, but while I’m a late to the party, I couldn’t let the opportunity pass without honoring the women who make it look easy (news flash, it’s not!). There is a specific kind of dedication required to show up fully for your clients/work and your family simultaneously.

During Women’s History Month, we often look at the “big” milestones, and I am enamored by all the women in my life, but I wanted to give a special shout-out to the working mothers and their daily resilience. It’s the quiet strength of managing a career while raising the next generation of history-makers.

To the moms who are tired, the moms who are thriving, and the moms who aren’t sure how they are doing, somehow “balancing” the grind with being there for your kids: I see you, I’m amazed by you, and I’m so grateful to be in your ranks!

I hope you take a moment to reflect how much you carry every day and give yourself grace, because it is tough. Here’s to the late nights, the early mornings, and the amazing women who make it all happen somehow 🥂

Last year, I was honored to be featured in NOVA Real Producers magazine. The article, “A Worldly Perspective, A Local Heart,” captured what drives me: my commitment to being loyal, hardworking (or as my son said, “the opposite of lazy!”), and treating every transaction like it’s my own. I honestly think I spaced out during the interview haha

It covered my unique journey, from my French roots to finding my home here in the DMV, and the passion that fuels my work in real estate alongside my father, Al. My “why” is simple: making my family proud, and showing my son that you can succeed through hard work and kindness.

I later attended the magazine party which was so great to hear other people’s inspiring stories. However I wasn’t expecting to speak to the group and unfortunately had to leave early for a meeting... I was overwhelmed. All the emotion behind my “whys”—my family, my clients, and all the highs and low lows that led me here—hit me all at once. I had a wave of gratitude and just lost it… Definitely wasn’t how I wanted it to go 😅
