Love this photo-op!

Let me say this...
No matter where you stand politically, seeing Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Joe Biden all in the same room for the Obama Presidential Center opening spoke volumes.
What stood out to me was seeing President Bush, a Republican, show up and support the Obamas. That is what leadership and respect used to look like. You could disagree on policy and still recognize someone's humanity, accomplishments, and service to this country.
And can we talk about Michelle Obama for a minute? The friendship she's built over the years with people from both sides of the aisle says a lot about her character.
Looking at these photos reminded me of a time when political differences didn't completely erase civility.
Whether you agreed with every decision Barack Obama made or not, one thing many Americans felt during his presidency was hope. Hope that tomorrow could be better. Hope that young people could dream bigger. Hope that this country could continue moving forward.
Seeing former presidents and first ladies come together for this historic moment felt bigger than politics. It felt like a reminder that America is at its best when people can disagree, yet still respect one another.
