👀 Get ready, Antioch! Our day is Tuesday, December 9th from 9AM to 5PM! Swing by Merit Law Group, tackle our trivia, and put your brain to the test.

Let’s just say… if you know a thing or two about Antioch and the guy running the show around here, you might have an edge!

The Golden Ticket Holiday Hunt begins Monday, November 17!

Get ready for a festive new adventure that supports our local businesses and adds a little holiday fun to your shopping. Each day from November 17–December 19, a different Antioch business will be featured on the calendar in the accompanying graphic. Stop by during their listed business hours to take part in their custom Golden Ticket challenge. While you’re there, consider picking up a stocking stuffer or two - you’ll be ahead on holiday shopping in no time!

What’s the Challenge?
That’s the surprise! Each business has created its own unique way for you to find the Golden Ticket - it could be a scavenger hunt, trivia question, test of skill, or something entirely unexpected. Come ready for anything!
How to Play & Win:
• Visit the featured business on its designated day.
• If you find the Golden Ticket, complete an entry form with your name and contact information.
• Everyone who finds the ticket and submits the form will be entered into a drawing.
• The business will draw a winner the following day and contact them directly to pick up their prize.

What’s the Prize?
Another mystery! Each participating business donates and selects its own prize - so expect fun surprises from our creative business community.

Honoring Antioch’s Veterans – Tuesday, November 11

As the Mayor of Antioch, the owner of Merit Law Group, and most importantly, a grateful U.S. citizen, I want to take a moment to thank and honor the brave men and women of Antioch who have served our country. Your sacrifices have secured the freedoms we all enjoy, and you deserve our deepest gratitude.

To show my appreciation, this Tuesday, Veterans Day, I’m inviting all Antioch veterans and active-duty military personnel to enjoy a complimentary coffee beverage and pastry item — on me — at any of the following local establishments:
• Little Bean Café – 395 Lake Street, Antioch, IL
• The Latte Café & Bakery– 893 Main Street (Route 83) at the corner of Route 173, Antioch, IL
• Lovin Oven Bakery – 455 Lake Street, Antioch, IL

Simply show your military ID or proof of service.
The promotion runs from opening until 10:30 AM at each location.

So if you’re a veteran, stop in and grab a coffee — just tell them, “The Mayor’s got my coffee.”

Please take a moment on Tuesday to thank a veteran and reflect on their service. I also look forward to joining our community at the Veterans Day celebration at Lakes High School that morning.

We’re thrilled to welcome Attorney James Pollard to our team as Of Counsel! James brings years of experience in residential real estate law, assisting clients with both home purchases and sales.

While he’ll continue to operate his own law office, James will now work Of Counsel with Merit Law Group to support our growing residential real estate practice.
