Home is a freshly painted wall, a dusted guitar, and dogs who make themselves very comfortable. 🧡🐾

Bruce went exploring in the woods and came home wearing his warrior paint. Every warrior needs a place to come home—and this little mess belongs here. 😂

Some of my favorite things carry stories: the plant stand Mamma bought at a yard sale when I was eight, and the peace lily from my favorite chiropractor, Dr. Joe, when he closed his office. Old memories, fresh paint, and a whole lot of home.

Today’s message from Pastor Mark reminded me that revival belongs in our daily lives. We need to pick up God’s Word, repent and return to the Lord, and seek the peace and joy that come from Him.

For me, that means learning from His Word, letting my actions speak louder, and reminding my community how much God loves them. He loves us unconditionally.

“Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” — Psalm 85:6, KJV

That is my prayer today. Lord, revive our hearts. Help us make room for You every day.

Apparently, major real estate decisions require rest, reflection, and at least one snack.

Bruce’s first rule of home buying?
Don’t fall in love with the house and forget to learn about the community. 🏡

When you’re buying in an HOA or condominium community, you’re buying more than the home itself. You’re also becoming part of an association with its own assessments, maintenance responsibilities, rules, amenities, and long-term plans.

Before purchasing, buyers should understand things like:

• Regular HOA assessments and other fees
• Special assessments or major projects under discussion
• What the HOA maintains versus what the homeowner maintains
• Pet, parking, leasing, architectural, fence, deck, and exterior rules
• Governing documents and community standards
• Whether the association appears financially prepared for future repairs

A beautiful home can still become a frustrating purchase if the community structure doesn’t fit your lifestyle or budget.

That is one reason my work in both real estate and community association management matters so much to me.

I want buyers to understand the home AND the community they are buying into.

Realtor.com recently reported on AI-generated videos spreading false information about property-tax relief — information that could cause homeowners, particularly seniors, to make decisions that affect legitimate benefits.

So here is today’s friendly reminder:

If you see something online promising a property-tax break, exemption, or special homeowner benefit, verify it before you act.

Check with the appropriate government agency. Ask questions. Make a phone call. Take five extra minutes before making a financial decision involving your home.
