Maine lawmakers have approved the nation's first statewide moratorium on large-scale data centers, halting development of facilities requiring more than 20 megawatts of electricity until fall 2027. The move comes as data centers face growing scrutiny over noise, water use, and rising electricity costs for nearby residents. In states that host the most data centers, electricity prices have risen: Illinois up 12.2%, Texas up 4.4%, and Virginia up 3.1%.

In 2026 I’m keeping it real. No AI marketing on this page or my content. I won’t go into the impacts of data centers but know “real” is what my clients get with me. 🚫 No fake smiles or beating around the bush. ✅ Honest conversations, empathy, and a game plan to get you in or out of the house you’re in.

Time for a real reintroduction:

I’m a married 31 year old kid doing my best to adult. When I’m not showing homes or dealing with real estate, I’m working on a project. In our free time, my wife and I play video / board games or travel. We have two pups… one of them has terrible breath! I let my hair get too long before scheduling an appointment and I need to work out more, read more, and choose the dessert less.

Real estate has been good to me but I’m not a million dollar agent by any means. I’m grateful for each and every client and hope their reviews can be a testament of what you can expect when using me as your agent.
