As summer comes to a close, we had the pleasure of hosting a happy hour to celebrate and thank our outstanding law clerks for all of their hard work and dedication this season.

Throughout the summer, our law clerks invested countless hours learning the practice of law, supporting our attorneys, and gaining firsthand experience in what it’s like to work in a law firm. Their curiosity, professionalism, and commitment made an impact, and we’re grateful for everything they contributed.

Our attorneys, especially their supervising attorneys, will certainly miss them as they return for another exciting school year. We wish each of them continued success in their studies and future legal careers.

Our thank-you happy hour was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a firm, celebrate our people, and enjoy time outside the office. Thank you again to our incredible law clerks for a fantastic summer. We can’t wait to see all that you’ll accomplish!

Giving back is always more meaningful when it brings people together.

This week, the Liff, Walsh & Simmons and Eagle Title teams came together for the Jared Box Project in support of children at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center. Team members spent the afternoon filling boxes with toys, activities, and other fun surprises designed to brighten a child’s day. We also wrote personal notes of encouragement and decorated each box to make it even more special.

The event was filled with holiday music, festive treats, and a shared commitment to making a difference in our community. We are grateful to everyone who took time out of their day to help create moments of comfort, distraction, and joy for local children and their families.

Last night, members of the Liff, Walsh & Simmons and Eagle Title teams were honored to attend the Baltimore Business Journal Best Places to Work celebration, where we were recognized as one of the 2026 Best Places to Work in the Medium Company category.

One of our favorite moments of the evening was hearing Tom Simmons share that the word appearing most often in our employee survey responses was collaborative. As a law firm and title company, we have countless opportunities to work together across teams, offices, and practice areas. Collaboration isn’t just something we do: it’s who we are.

Liff, Walsh & Simmons and Eagle Title are excited to host our annual Christmas in July Toy Drive benefiting the Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center Pediatric ER and Johns Hopkins Pediatric Oncology.

We're collecting new, unwrapped toys to help bring smiles, comfort, and a little extra joy to children and families in our community. Donations can be dropped off at our office throughout the month.

Every toy has the power to brighten a child's day, and we're grateful for the opportunity to come together with our clients, colleagues, and community to support these incredible organizations. We hope you'll join us in helping make this season a little brighter for local families.
