🐑 Did you know there are two types of sheep—hair sheep and wool sheep? 🐑

Come out to the Farmers Corral and see both types for yourself! 🌾

A big THANK YOU to Froberg Fruit and Vegetable Farm, Alvin, Texas for lending us two of your homegrown lambs—a Dorper (hair sheep) and a Gulf Coast (wool sheep)! ❤️

We've loved having them here and showing off these adorable lambs! Be sure to stop by the Farmers Corral and meet them! 🐑💚

It's day #6 in the Farmers Corral & we're still having lots of fun talking to all the visitors both young & old! There is so much to see in the Barn! We have live bees (can you find the queen?) 🐝 and some adorable sheep! 🐑 The piglets are getting quite friendly 🐷 and the calves are loving the attention!🐮 We're shelling a ton of corn 🌽 and making living necklaces with a seed you can grow at home! 🌱 And of course you don't want to miss the cute ducklings 🦆 & baby chicks!🐣

There's only a few more days of the Brazoria County Fair... so come & see us!

This morning was the Scramble Heifer show & Brazoria-Galveston County Farm Bureau was proud to sponsor 2 students & their heifers this past year. They both did a great job showing today! We really enjoyed reading their reports & watching their progress over the last several months.

Keep up the good work Kolby Hall & Lexi Stone!

Happy ! 🚜

We’re so thankful for all the farmers who grow the crops and raise the animals that provide us with the food we eat and thousands of other products we use every day! 🐄🌽🐔

If you’re out at the Brazoria County Fair today, stop by the Farmers Corral and learn more about cotton, corn, rice, and other commodities our farmers work hard to produce. From food and fiber to fuel, agriculture plays an important role in our everyday lives! 🌱

Join us in celebrating the farmers who help keep us fed, clothed, and fueled! ❤️🌾
