Original post: Vogel Realty Group, LLC is looking to hire a general maintenance employee. This is a W-2 position with payroll deductions and workers comp insurance.
Who we are: A full service Real Estate Brokerage offering buy/sell/manage services; A fully licensed, bonded and insured General Contractor with Residential Endorsement; A Land Services Contractor; Developer; Remodeler, and more.
Pay is $15hr (no experience) - $35hr (a level of experience that doesn't require supervision and call backs on most basic maintenance tasks).
We are primarily looking for someone with plenty of well rounded experience, but will also entertain entry level if you are honest, have integrity and can work efficiently with or without supervision.
Looking for someone with skills, knowledge, abilities in some of the following areas (doesn't need to be all, but the more the better): Drywall, painting, minor plumbing and electrical, roofing, flooring, installation/repair of doors and windows, lawn care, snow removal with shovel, snow blower, plow truck, skid steer, all facets of general residential and/or commercial maintenance, construction, remodeling and repair work.
This is NOT a traditional m-f, 8-5 type job. We are a flexible schedule company, we can work with you to set expectations and exceptions for work days/hours, we ask that the jobs get done when needed and that you be reliable with your commitment. At times there isn't major priority, at times there is. In property management, things break, flood, burn, loose power, freeze, etc 24/7.
Must haves: Own vehicle, valid unrestricted license and valid active insurance, no substance abuse issues, no misdemeanor or felony (active) charges or convictions for crimes against persons or property. Some criminal charges/convictions can be reviewed on a case by case basis.
This job does not currently offer any benefits besides pay and flexibility.
