District Attorney Brooke Jenkins’ announced juvenile policy last September 2022 ignores “the data and the history which has shown the ineffective, counterproductive, and dangerous practice of trying youth as adults under any circumstances,” the PD noted Monday.

🚨Several suspects are on the run after they rushed a Detroit police tow yard to get back their ATVs.

Police confiscated around 20 ATVs after following from downtown Detroit to a home on Sunday and took them to a police tow yard.

At around 3 am on Monday, a group of people, about 20-30, rushed to the police tow yard on the city's east side and took their ATVs back.

While in the process of taking the ATVs back, a security guard working at the yard started firing shots.

The suspects then started running and only got away with several ATVs.

Sources say the security guard is expected to be fired. The suspects in the theft are still on the run.
